Hi Tommy
Sorry for the delay about the thermostat.
You can use a plug-in one, and I think this is for maintaining a temp for round the clock.
There as some thermostats I think they are called thermostats with dual cycles and they give the ability to set them at a temp during the day and at another temp during the night.
I am looking at one at the moment for the white heater that I have in the cold frame. I found it on amazon this morning. I need to look closer at it and may be find a video about it on youtube. Then I will decide.
