A Bit Of Colour...

14 April 2013 - 12:31 PM

I have just spent an hour or so planting my home grown Pansy's into the garden, ready for my two munchy tortoises in two weeks when I get back from my holiday.

It certainly adds a bit of colour to the garden, but I wonder for how long

Bit Rubbish...need Help :d

08 April 2013 - 04:43 PM

Good afternoon,

I am still fairly new to this and pretty rubbish at identifying weeds. I saw these while at work earlier, can somebody please help me identify these and tell me if they are safe to feed my torts..

Thanks in advance..

Random Question I Know..

07 April 2013 - 01:26 PM

Here I am again with another question, which only occurred to me this afternoon while cleaning out "Bubba" my cockatiel.

I was wondering if anybody has ever had any thought about growing the seed into grasses and feeding this to tortoises. I know it is probably a question of finding out what the seeds are, but I was wondering if anybody here would have that knowledge or thoughts on the matter.

Shall I Change?

I am going to take advantage of the nice weather and clean out my two torts. Just a quick question do I go for my usual substrate of sterilised topsoil or shall I try a top soil playsand combination??

A Big "hello"...

04 April 2013 - 09:34 PM

Just want to say hello to everyone and to post a couple more pictures to introduce us to you all.

Here is a closer image of young Dolly girl enjoying a warm up.

Followed by a photo of Archie all snuggled up in a furry coat. We never actually physically put him in the coat, one day he just decided to climb in independently and has now claimed my now redundant coat as one of his beds..
