#68408 Help With First Outdoor Enclosure

Posted by NANACAZ on Yesterday, 01:22 PM

Hi

I also found it difficult to put my tort outside but she is a lot happier. I have put pics on of her enclosure to see if it helps nothing elaborate she has full access to our garden as we have made sure it is tort proof, they are fantastic escape artist.. It is always an ongoing process the feedback and knowledge on this is site is fantastic although I do get a little confused too.. lol.. think its my age..

Thanks Karen, I must admit I was really nervous when we hibernated her and we were glad when it was time to wake her up.. Was sooo relieved when she came out looking ok, warmed up and started eating after a couple of days., cant wait for more sunny days.. :) :) xx

Hi

Wilbur seems to be doing ok, he had his daily bath this afternoon but there was very little poo in it, have started to turn lights on later in the morning and turn off a little earlier at night and he seems comfortable... :)

Thanks

Is it too late to hibernate Wilbur. I have just been reading up on it and one of the websites says the end of Oct is a good time, I just want to make sure before I reduce/stop his food. I know he has to be hydrated so depending on what you tell me I will be on here quite a lot to make sure I am doing it right..

By the way this is a great forum and thankyou for your time and knowledge.. it really is appreciated..

Thankyou everyone..
